Malaria is the number one killer of children in Africa. The Rotary Club of Dar es Salaam distributes mosquito bed nets to help prevent this disease.
A donation to the program of TZS 1 million purchases 150 impregnated mosquito nets. The donor's name/logo and the Rotary wheel are printed on the nets. They are then distributed free of charge by the club on behalf of the donor by the donor themselves.
Worthy recipients of the nets include children's boarding schools and government hospitals.
